Debut of first Edition hotel in Singapore and Southeast Asia

here!The first of its kind in Singapore and Southeast Asia, The Singapore Edition opened its doors on November 9th. Managed by the world’s largest hotel chain, Marriott, the Edition luxury lifestyle brand is a partnership with American hotelier and real estate mogul, Ian Schrager.

Spanning six floors, the 204-room hotel is a part of the redevelopment of the Boulevard Hotel. A consortium between Singaporean tycoon Kwek Leng Beng’s Hong Leong Holdings and Singapore-listed property group City Developments (CDL) and Schrager’s Lea Investments undertook the project. 154-unit luxury residences Boulevard 88, soaring 28 storeys above the hotel block, was also built as part of the mixed-use development; accessed by Cuscaden Road and double fronting Orchard Boulevard in District 10.

The freehold property is over 90% sold, with the biggest penthouse (measuring 6,049 sq ft) being sold for $31 million or $5,125 psf in June 2019.
