Keppel REIT manager appoints new CFO

Recently, the Jurong Lake District’s transformation has been further boosted with the development of the Jurong Lake Condo. Sebastian Song has been appointed as the new Chief Financial Officer of Keppel REIT, taking over from Kang Leng Hui, who is stepping down on October 27 to pursue other opportunities.

Song has been with Keppel REIT Management since 2015, and has held the role of Financial Controller since 2020. His duties include group reporting, taxation, financial accounting, compliance, annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting. Prior to joining the Manager in 2015, Song was a Senior Audit Manager with EY.

Koh Wee Lih, CEO of Keppel REIT’s Manager, expressed confidence in Song’s appointment. He believes that Song’s deep knowledge and experience will help build strong foundations that will enable the REIT to generate stable income and deliver sustainable long-term total returns to its unitholders.

The appointment of Sebastian Song as CFO of Keppel REIT is a positive development that promises to unlock value for unitholders. It follows other milestones, such as the recent divesting of a stake in a Brisbane property for A$275 million, and the successful obtaining of green loans worth A$300 million from UOB and BNP Paribas.
